A. Vinyl is stretchy and used more for seating.
Vinide is non-stretch and used for panel work
and carpet bindings etc.
Q. What is the difference between
automotive leather hide and furniture leather
hide?
A. Automotive leather normally has a harder surface
finish is also less likely to scuff and is slightly
thicker
Q. Can you use vinide to make
hoods?
A. No vinyl to make hoods is completely different
although it looks the same
Q. What is best mohair hooding
or double duck?
A. Mohair does not fade or shrink as quickly
as duck does but duck is more in keeping with
vintage cars
Q. What is the best glue for headlining?
A .you can either use high temp spray glue or
the tined spread contact adhesive that we supply
the spray glue is easier to use but the contact
glue is sometimes more affective
